Introduction
This major provides students with the concepts and techniques for conducting research in gender studies, with a focus on Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Core themes include - cross-cultural encounters, gender and globalisation, gender, work and economy, social movements and social change, identities and representations, sexualities, families and households, rural and urban lives, colonialism and postcoloniality.
