Introduction
Each student's program in the Chinese (Mandarin) Language Stream is planned in consultation with staff members.

Special Note
Students beginning a study of the language must complete the following units - Chinese 111, 112, 211, 212, 311, 312, 321 and 322 (alternative language units may be substituted with the approval of the Language Stream coordinator). This results in a proficiency in Chinese language equivalent to Level 1 of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters.
