Introduction
This course is designed for those with a of a first professional qualification in librarianship working in an environment where management of an organisations records, as well as the management of a library, is involved. It offers an overview of records keeping and management practices and theory, the technology involved in the records management area and information retrieval theory.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
An undergraduate degree or graduate diploma qualification in librarianship.
Specific Requirements
Applicants with minimal or no computing skills are expected to undertake a short course in computing. Regular reliable internet access is required.

Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study and external study is also available.
