Introduction
This course is designed for those with a first professional qualification in records management working in an environment where the management of a library as well as records management is involved. It offers an overview of the basic technological, information retrieval and collection management issues in librarianship.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
An undergraduate degree or graduate diploma qualification in records management or archives.
Specific Requirements
Applicants with minimal or no computing skills are expected to undertake a short course in computing. Regular and reliable Internet access is required.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
Duration and Availability
This fee paying course is one semester full-time or equivalent part-time study. External study is also available.
