| Syllabus: | This unit examines the ethical and professional responsibilities of an accountant and the financial information needs of entities’ diverse stakeholders. The concepts, principles and practices that underpin the preparation and interpretation of corporate financial reports in a variety of contexts, including single, group, public sector and not for profit entities, are applied and evaluated. The role of the accountant in assessing and advising on the implications of accounting regulation on financial reporting is explored. |
