STRU-APGEN v.1 Environmental Genetics and Microbiology Stream (BSc Science)
Major/Stream Overview
This major/stream is part of a larger course. Information is specific to the major/stream, please refer to the course for more information.
This stream further develops the practical and theoretical skills required to contribute to genetic and microbiology fields. Students will have the opportunity to interact with a number of research teams that use genetic/bioinformatics approaches to address a variety of applications relevant to environmental and agricultural disciplines. Genetics and genomics has expanded rapidly in recent years and offers a number of opportunities in industry and as a pathway to higher degree programs.
