| Syllabus: | In this unit students will examine international and local design precedents using aesthetic theory and cultural perspectives including those of indigenous peoples. Students will analyse the aesthetics of spatial exemplars in order to understand the composition of elements and how and why they evoke certain experiences. Through creative practice, students will also learn how to actively implement aesthetics into spatial design to elicit desired experiences. |
