Syllabus: | Drawing on the Social Change Model of Leadership and taking a leadership in action approach, students will focus on implementing leadership skills through community projects. Utilizing a multidimensional approach students do, see, talk, read and write about leading change and reflect on what this means for their own leadership development. Through synthesizing and integrating information about leadership and leading change at the individual, group and societal level, students demonstrate theory in practice. Feedback is embedded throughout the unit as a conscious and ongoing approach for measuring and supporting learning, engagement and motivation. |
