Syllabus: An examination of some of the ways in which emerging technologies have been represented as reconfiguring the self and its relationship to culture since the 1960s. Applying key concepts in a range of relevant disciplines such as Cultural Studies, Literary Studies, Film Studies and New Media Studies, students will develop the capacity to analyse and evaluate a range of print, film and electronic texts.
