Syllabus: | In the Engineering Research Project units, students have an opportunity to demonstrate they have acquired and can apply advanced knowledge and appropriate to research and design a solution that is robust, safe, cost effective and appropriate to the end-user. It is essential that this solution reflects not only established thinking and practices but equally important, it should account for divergent and newly developing views as well as any limitations or weaknesses that underpin current understanding. In this unit students will: complete implementation of the solution they proposed in the previous unit, verify their solution against requirements, keep a logbook, and effectively report and present the project in a variety of media, including an individual thesis. |
