| Syllabus: | This unit covers the relationship between common law and equity, and the key equitable doctrines, including fiduciary relationships, equitable obligations of confidentiality, estoppel, undue influence, unconscionability and relief against forfeiture of property rights. The unit also discusses the circumstances in which third parties may be liable for breaches of equitable obligations and the full range of equitable remedies. |
