Additional Tuition Pattern Information: Field work, 6 days, trip during semester break; Pre-field lectures, 2 hours per weeks 1-4.
Syllabus: Introduction to field geology of Precambrian Terranes. A field camp of approximately 6 days to identify, study and map Precambrian rocks. Students make geological observations of selected areas including constructing spatial and face geological maps and taking structural measurements to infer formative conditions of rocks and geological evolution of the area.
