Syllabus: | An overview of the ways digitisation is influencing library collections and services. Topics include defining a digital library, digital formats and collection development, cataloguing web-based resources (including current metadata standards), open archives, digital and virtual reference, Library 2.0, preservation, Australian digital library initiatives, social responsibility and the digital divide. |
