Syllabus: | This unit will explore the legal and bioethical implications of the role of the Registered Nurse role within the Australian health care systems and as per Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia. The professional competency and practice framework for the registered nurse. Registered nurse and other legislative requirements, including consumer rights and advocacy. Safety and quality standards in healthcare, inter-professional collaboration and professional communication will also be examined. |
