Syllabus: | This unit introduces the concept of materiality. Students will investigate materials and their contribution to the experience of the built environment. Through the explorative processes of making and representation of the properties of the materials students will be required to employ critical thinking, contextualise theory, and solve complex open ended design questions. Theories of sustainable practice will be integrated. |
