Syllabus: | Conduct the experimental or developmental study of a selected process, device or structure designed in Civil Engineering Research Project 1. Satisfactorily report on progress to the department/supervisor at required times. Write a technical final report for the project - consisting of an account of the work involved, together with results and conclusions of the analysis, experimental work and design as appropriate. Write a technical paper for the project summarising and presenting the key outcomes. Make a formal oral presentation in a conference style session at the end of the year and attend and contribute (peer-assess/questioning of peers) to conference-tyle presentations by peers. |
