| Syllabus: | Students will be exposed to current issues relating to an international community (e.g., globalisation, environmental effects, economic development/growth, trade restrictions and international resource movements) and theoretical models of trade. Both classical and new theories of trade will be examined. Microeconomics principles will be applied to find solutions to problems. Students will also have opportunities to improve their oral/written communication skills, learn research techniques as well as work co-operatively with their peers. |
