Syllabus: | In this unit students develop a deeper critical focus on the conceptual ideas that underpin their art or design project; gain a greater awareness of the global context for contemporary art and design practice and research; and learn to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally how the conceptual, theoretical or industry perspectives driving their project informs their creative practice. Building upon the research skills previously attained students will develop a draft dissertation that links their creative practice to theory or industry in a complementary and authentic manner and engage in a critical, interdisciplinary dialogue about their project including the critical analysis of the work and ideas of peers. |
