| Syllabus: | This unit examines the structure and organisation of the popular music industry. This would include the impact of new technologies, most especially digitalisation, focusing on downloading and the renewed emphasis on live performance. The unit could also have visiting lecturers. For example, an artist’s manager talking about what s/he does; a promoter; the manager of a music shop. |
