| Additional Tuition Pattern Information: | The fieldwork for this unit includes a 10-day professional experience placement in a school. Placements are undertaken on a full-time basis in a continuous block. |
| Syllabus: | This unit will introduce lesson planning including selecting objectives and appropriate teaching, learning and assessment strategies. In addition it will include the use of appropriate resources and effective communication to support learning. A two week professional placement will enable practical application of the knowledge and skills gained along with insights into the complexity of the teacher’s role. Passing this unit is contingent on successful completion of the professional practice component of the unit. |
