| Syllabus: | This unit will explore social constructions of childhood and adolescence. Students will develop the skills to work with children and adolescents. Care contexts will be explored as part of this unit of study. International and Indigenous perspectives will frame the theoretical approaches that underpin this unit. Students will be introduced to child and adolescent mental health with a particular focus on loss and grief; and working with parents. |
