Syllabus: | This unit offers a sophisticated exploration of a core area of Interior Architecture, with exposure to advanced research strategies to suit projects, including creative practice. Students will be facilitated through a self-directed project, framed as research and/or creative practice in the discipline area. Three modes of constructing studies are available to the student. Additionally students choose from a practice or experiential or mixed foci to their research. New methods of seeing, thinking and doing are fore-grounded, and students are encouraged to push beyond what is known. Students will be encouraged to envisage new methods, processes, technologies and/or scenarios to provide challenging insights and/or outcomes for future contexts. Emphasis is given to peer mentoring and self-directed learning. |
