| Syllabus: | This unit reviews the relevant components of various areas contained in the taxation system of Hong Kong. It takes into account how individuals are taxed with emphasis on both employment and business taxes. A review of corporate businesses and the taxes affecting them. Stamp duty and property taxes are also considered. The taxation consequences of overseas activities are reviewed in detail. The unit also considers the tax administration of Hong Kong in regards to both tax compliance and penalty regimes. Tax planning is also dealt with in detail. |
