Syllabus: | Introduction to international agricultural marketing and trade including the planning, implementation and control of international agribusiness activities. Topics include: international trade environments and trade policy, support agencies and trade enhancement programs, modes of market entry, product modification and adaptation, cross cultural issues, supply chain management, distribution, promotion and payment options. Examples will be provided in trading commodities and differentiated food products. An international market of the student's choice will be studied in greater depth. |
