| Syllabus: | This unit will explore pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis and clinical decision making for individuals with adverse health conditions: respiratory, cardiovascular (CV), neoplasia, hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal and urological dysfunction. Changes to brain functioning. Quality use of medicines. The unit will also explore Drug classifications according to body systems (endocrine, nervous, CV, respiratory, GIT, genitourinary, musculoskeletal, sensory miscellaneous, antimicrobial), interactions, drug resistance. |
