Syllabus: | Topics in algebra: factorisation, indices, logarithms, surds and solving equations. Functions and their graphical interpretation: domain, range, linear, quadratic and exponential functions, and simultaneous equations. Sequences and series: arithmetic andgeometric sequences and series. Growth and decay: applications, simple and compound interest and annuities. Set theory: union, intersection, subsets, elements of sets, number of elements and Venn diagrams. Numeration systems: decimal and binary number systems. |
