Syllabus: | Open to students in the Professional Writing Major who are in their final semester of study or have made satisfactory progress towards the completion of the Major. Provides an opportunity for students to gain an intensive industry experience at the pointwhere their professional writing and publishing skills should be close to the peak of their student abilities. Students are placed two days a week over 6 weeks. The unit is assessed jointly by the workplace supervisor and the academic supervisor. As part of their assessment, students are required to use their skills to organise the placement in consultation with the unit coordinator. |
