Students will study the principles of grape and wine production combined with domestic and international marketing and wine tourism. Students develop a functional understanding the practical and theoretical components of wine production and sensory evaluation of wine. Theory and practice of business to business marketing, market segmentation, market research, strategic marketing and the process of planning are covered in both a domestic and international context. The role of wine tourism in successful business management including cellar door operations, event management and customer relations is also covered.
