Applied anthropology and development. A study of practices, problems and processes in applied anthropology for development and planned culture change. Recent issues and strategies in 'popular participation' and 'alternative development'. At a theoreticallevel, conceptions of culture and power, knowledge (both western and local) and agency in the development encounter.
