Theoretical foundations of medical imaging science. Concepts of diagnostic radiography including, instrumentation, technical factors, imaging accessories and film processing. Patient care. Positioning theory for the upper extremity and shoulder girdle, lower extremity and pelvic girdle. Radiographic, surface and applied anatomy of the upper and lower extremities, shoulder and pelvic girdles and the spine. Application of geometric principles and axial relationships to the interpretation of radiographic anatomy and their implications to radiographic procedures. |
