  | An introduction to accounting and financial management, for managers and professionals without formal business qualifications.  Specifically, it aims to increase your knowledge and understanding of a company's financial position, corporate accountabilityand how these effect business decisions.  It will allow the assessment of companies according to their liquidity, profitability, financial backing and triple-bottom-line performance.  In doing so, it will enable a better understanding of the real driversof a business and explain, in financial terms, the costs and benefits of decision alternatives.  It will provide the skills to communicate more effectively with finance and accounting managers. |
