Geophysical techniques assist with delineating mineralisation and structures between drill holes and mine openings, with benefits such as reduced drilling expenditure and improved resource estimation. This unit will cover property measurement, drill-holelogging, and electrical and electromagnetic, as well as magnetic, survey methods. Following on from basic theory, the course will involve practical interpretation techniques applied to data from several projects. |
