Patient assessment. Principles of diagnosis, prognosis, treatment planning, prevention and treatment methods for caries and periodontal disease. Records, appointments. Restorative dentistry - relevant anatomy and histology review, cavity preparations, matrices, insertion, materials; further considerations, pulp capping and pulpotomies. Radiography - radiation, x-rays, dental x-ray machine, films, film quality, safety and intra-oral techniques, post clinical procedures, interpretation, errors and lateral obliques. |
