Mechanisms of momentum, energy and mass transport. Momentum transfer and fluid mechanics - shell momentum balances, equations of change (isothermal), momentum transport with two independent variables, turbulent momentum transport. Heat transfer - shell energy balances, equations of change (non-isothermal), energy transport with two independent variables. Numerical methods for fluid flow and heat transfer - viscous flow near a wall and sphere heating. Mass transfer - equations of change (multicomponent), mass transport with two independent variables. |
