The application of basic statistical techniques for the analysis of chemical process data. Design of experiments and interpretation of results. Application of SQC/SPC in the management of processes. Introduction to modelling of chemical processes. Analysis of errors inherent in chemical engineering models. Development and solution of models using linear and non-linear equations. Application of interpolation, approximation, numerical integration and differentiation to chemical engineering systems.
