Background and context of primary health care, modelsof health and illness, health program policy, planning and evaluation, health and development, the socio-cultural context of health and illness, the economics of health care, health and community development, community participation. Common major healthproblems - diarrhoea, acute respiratory infections, malnutrition, malaria, tuberculosis, the HIV/AIDS epidemic, family planning and reproductive health. |
