Students become their own Case study to formulate a research proposal and implement research objectives. These aims are informed within the framework of Naturalistic Inquiry in recognition that design outcomes, like naturalistic inquiry is the result of a complex web of context specific inter-relationships. Within this framework, this unit includes - Action Research, Reflective Practice Systems Thinking; Ethnography and Emergent Design in recognition that naturalistic research, kike design process, allows the research/design to emerge from the various and competing constructions of reality. This range of research experience is brought together through the technique - The Audit Trail in recognition that information and knowledge requires defined structures in order to be gathered and evaluated.
