Basic principles - bone marrow, blood specimens - when and why. Culturing - which cultures and why. Number of counts. Quality of spreads. Disease types and expected cytogenetic changes. Cytogenetic changes and alterations at the gene level, for example 9, 22 oncogenetics, tumour suppressors, present and absent. DMINs. Clone and clonal evolution. |
