Structure and function of animals, review of some of the methods used to collect and study them. Basic organisation of the animal body, review of invertebrate and vertebrate taxonomy, evolutionary relationships between animal groups, collection and preservation of animals, respiration by animals, animal feeding patterns, excretion and water balance, nerve and endocrine systems, locomotion and body support and reproduction. |
