Exploration of the complexity and diversity of interpersonal violence and abuse including gendered patterns of violence and abuse, child sexual and physical abuse, youth violence, domestic violence, violence in minority communities and violence against elders. Exploration of various approaches for responding to violence and abuse, prioritising victim safety and advocacy and perpetrator accountability. Reflection on the impact of their own experiences, beliefs, attitudes and feelings. |
