Theoretical foundations of group counselling. Purposes and outcomes of groups. Setting up groups - contracting, confidentiality, goals, norms, open/closed etc. Group processes/dynamics, stages of group development. Group facilitation models in a cross cultural context for a variety of purposes across diverse settings. Tracking the group's life. Identifying and developing essential facilitation skills.
