12711 (v.3) Electrical Systems 204 or any previous version
Per unit quantities, long transmission lines - A, B, C, D parameters and distributed modelling and performance calculations, series and shunt compensations. Load flow calculations - Gauss-Seidel, Newton-Raphson and decoupled load flow. Contingency calculations, symmetrical and unsymmetrical faults - three phase, L-L, L-G, L-L-G faults and circuit breaker ratings. R-L-C circuit transients, recovery voltage transients in circuit breakers and ferro-resonances, DC load flow, Power system harmonics.
