The physics of magnetic resonance. Motion within atoms, hydrogen nucleus, alignment, precession, Larmour equation, resonance, MR signal, FID, relaxation, T1 recovery, T2 decay, T2*, pulse timing parameters K space. Non-ionizing radiation safety. Radiobiology and protection, biological effects and safety of non-ionizing radiation. International, Commonwealth and State legislation controlling the use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiations.
