Development of the foundation competencies in understanding human development, cardiopulmonary and exercise physiology and interpersonal communication. Topics on human development include - physical, cognitive and social development in children, adolescence, adulthood, ageing, dying. Topics on physiology include - pathophysiology and clinical features of pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases, muscle strength and endurance measurement, exercise program development and evaluation. Professional, interpersonal written and verbal, individual and group communication. |
