An in depth study of drug groups relevant to podiatric practice including their actions, indications, contraindications, adverse reactions, drug interactions. Doses of - antibiotics and antifungal agents, non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, analgesics, sedatives and hypnotics, general anaesthetic agents and drugs used in the treatment of acute adverse drug reactions. Prescription writing and drug regulations. |
