Instrumentation component-radiography - specialised imaging equipment design. Computed Tomography (CT) - image production, data collection, data manipulation, data display, conventional and spiral CT units. Magnetic resonance imaging - magnets, gradient magnets, radiofrequency systems, encoding, data collection and image formation, parameters and trade offs. Computing component- use of personal computers and PC -based operating systems. Use of word processors, spreadsheets, databases, business graphics and associated solving techniques. |
