The historical development of Goegraphy, both philisophically and as an academic discipline; systems theory; humanism, structuralism; behavouralism; Marxism; structuration; realism; feminism; poststructuralism and postmodernism. The emphasis is on the philosphical foundations of these different paradigms and an explaination of the contributions that they have made to the changing nature of the discipline. |
