Bioinformatics is a relatively new, rapidly growing, and exciting discipline which essentially uses a combination of computer technology and biochemical knowledge to collect, store, retrieve, analyse, and model biological data. This unit investigates DNA, RNA, and protein sequence data using Internet computer programs and on-line databases. |
