Traumatology - foot trauma. Ankle inversion sprain, posterior process fractures, jones fractures, cuboid disease, sinus tarsi syndrome, lateral nerve compression, sesamoiditis. RSDS. DISH. Electrophysical Agents - Indications and contraindication of various electrical and physical modalities used in podiatry. Including ultrasound, TENS, ice therapy, strapping and bracing techniques, rehabilitation, exercise and use of wobble-board etc. Podiatric Orthopaedics - orthoses, management of diverse podiatric pathologies using orthotic therapy. Nail surgery - supervised practical sessions. Principles of podiatric surgery and referral to appropriate sources.
