| Syllabus: | This unit provides foundational knowledge of law and the Australian legal system, including its historical development and constitutional framework. It contrasts common law and other forms of legal system and introduces students to the key sources of law while developing the skills of case analysis, statutory interpretation and legal reasoning required to access those sources of law and interpret and apply them to the resolution of legal disputes. |
